So Bo Bross only needed to earn $100 000, sell a masterpiece and max his interest in culture.
I Finished it all today. Also I tested the maternity hack where pregnant sims can wear custom clothes. It worked for me. Yay! The catch is to use a MAXIS dresser and no custom ones, nor recolours.
Ok, back to the topic (lol). So my original plan was for Bo to buy a community lot. He bought Little n’ Local that came with OFB in Bluewater Village.

I have 2 shopping district in my game in Pleasantview. Arnicka Annex is the second one after Bluewater. Anyhoo, so I moved the 2 little community lots from Bluewater to Arnicka Annex. Bo turned it into a type of gallery. He sold expensive sculptures set at Average price. He quickly gained stars and ended up with a level 5 business before hiring a cashier. Then the weirdest dressed townie walks in, and Bo is smitten. thereporter.gif
Ironically she turns out to be the reporter. Two ticks later, Little n’ Local receives a Best of the Best award.
With customers flowing in now and the merchandise pretty much selling itself due to the strategically placed award, Bo now focuses on painting is masterpiece. He sells it for $550. soldmasterpiece.gif
To get the $100 000 memory, I place the deeds certificate on a counter and click on it in live mode. Bo sells the business for just over $48 000. Not bad considering he only paid $5 500 for it. littlelocal.gif
Back at home he purchases the same lot for $25 000. Now he has extra money to expand the building a bit and sell even more expensive statues/sculptures.
After a few days he sells the business for over $75 000. Bingo, he gets the memory.
Almost forgot about the Culture Interest. He heads off to the newsstand in Pleasantview to get the magazine. Note to self – Build a small newsstand in Arnicka Annex!

On the sideline I’ve been playing Brandi Broke. I used her to test the maternity wear. I really struggled to make their ends meet, she keeps on being broke, no matter what job she gets. Now that I’ve finished the challenge I will move her and the 3 kids in with Bo, so at least the second generation will have a shot at material happiness.

I also learned that sims can fix broken elevators! fixingelevator.gif
