Carlotta Monet is the Target sim
I didn’t like playing this family. I was all so big and I’m a control freak, so I just waited until Carlotta and Bruce’s relationship was high and she’s seen the ghosts; then moved her out with little girl, Sara. They moved into a nice starter house from Downtown Sims. But it’s getting a bit cramped with all of girlie’s hobbies; I’ll just build them a new home.
Haven’t figured out Carlotta’s natural talent yet, but the girl likes sports… a lot. Also I found out that playing red hands and paper-scissors-rock ups the games hobby – thank you MAXIS. Thing is I want girly to become a dancer. It looks funny when she tries to do ballet stances (i can’t spell pilat/pillay/?) in her soccer outfit.
Also saw what happens when lightning strikes a tree and it stops raining. It was beautiful. Thank goodness Carlotta phoned the fire brigade; eventually. Always having fire alarms close to stoves and such, I forgot where the fire brigade’s number is. Seriously. I was checking and re-checking the service options. Meanwhile it was under emergency *face-palm*.
That’s it so far. Will play some more tonight.
Sue Shi is the target sim.
I was trying to remember if I’ve ever had a sim reach the top of ANY career. I think it happened once, in the medical career. That’s it for me. Ever since OFB came out, I just have entrepreneurs. Most of my sims have their own businesses… oh yeah and of course Ann Chovie reached top of Chef career. My sims usually work until they have nice hours and then they have a family and there’s no more time for friends or any skill advancements. Then it’s huzzah motherlode! By then I get bored wit the family and decide to create another one that will mirror this one’s ages, so the kids grow up together… then a new expansion comes out and I go all gaga for the new options… or real life steps in and I can’t play for a month.
Sooooo, Sue had to reach campaign manager in the Political career. I had no idea which level this is. Turns out it was just one step above the job that she already had. This makes it so much easier to focus on fishing fishing fishing.
Honestly, I did not cheat with this challenge. I had just installed Free Time and my game was mod/hack free, so I didn’t even have Monique’s computer to help. Sue did it all by herself. Turn out she has a natural flair for science… too bad, ‘cause she was maxed out in the Nature and Cuisine hobbies.
She burned her first attempt at Stuffed Rainbow Trout. I was a bit weary for her making the Golden Rainbow Trout. She only ever caught one of these fishies. At least it didn’t burn and she got the memory. She had some good house/dinner parties while cooking these dishes.
Did anyone find it strange that an Asian-type sim was living in this country cottage? To me it just didn’t look right. I was too lazy to redecorate, so I just added to the chaos.
I tried to get her to grow a veggie garden – it didn’t work out. The tomatoes were all bland. She didn’t like gardening that much.
This challenge won’t show up as completed on my TSR profile, ‘cause they are still updating the wizard to recognize Free Time.
