Target sim is Ivana Garten

I actually managed to turn Ivana into a werewolf.

The orginal lot was a bit laggy on my system. Ivana needed some money quick, so she started digging for treasure and found a big chest of gold on her first try. Super! She made friends with Andrea and moved her n. Their chemistry wasn’t too high, so Andrea changed her hair colour – Now they’re quite compatible.

I dind’t want Ivana to have a career at all, also her life-time-want was to marry off 6 children. Andrea wanted to be chief of staff – so I got her a job in the medicine career.

I moved them out into a house from Simcastic Designs by Webbymom – 110 Burbia Gated community (eventhough the download says 101BurbiaGatedCommunity.). I fell in love with these Gated Community Houses!

Anyway, so getting the gold garden badge was easy. Ivana just planted, weeded, tended, spayed and harvested a lot.

Eventually Ivana and Andrea got engaged and then married (or at least legally joined or some jargon that EAxis has in the options). It was a roof raiser party.

Balin the were-dog showed up a few nights while Ivana was gardening… then he nibbled her and she turned into a werewolf. I liked that her body skill and fitness increased nightly, but she also experienced some binge eating. So she bought the werewolf cure from the gypsy and 1-2-3, she was no more a lycan.

Funny thong happened at the cooking contest: Andrea won with her spaghetti; Ivana was disgusted that no-one liked her Filet Mignon.

Ivana adopted two children: Lydia and Yvette. These girls also wanted pets, so they got Oros and Soot, who in turn had three kittens. I thought that there can only be 8 sims in total including sims and pets. But I managed to have 9: 4 sims and 5 pets. So the lot became laggy again. Ivana sold all three kittens to her housekeeper.

I had the Garden club pay a visit, but only received a club membership, no perfect score yet. Ivana tried 2 more times to get the perfect garden score… to no avail. So Ivana hired a gardener. I bought her a lot of pretty garden stuff: a fountain, a fish pond, a few statues, garden lights and fences. Ivana talked to all the not-quite-so-happy plants, then invited the Garden Club again. She got her perfect score and a lovely wishing well. Andrea wished for friends (she needed 2 more for a promotion).

The only problem I’m still stuck with is changing Ivana into a Plantsim and thus producing a spore. The girls are almost on their way to Uni. Between Ivana and Andrea they have gone through 2 and a half longer-life aspiration rewards (I forget the name ;-) )

Pics to come when my internet resets after the 1st.

Sara got a train set. Is it just me or does it look like a scene from BeetleJuice.

Jack Hammer is the target sim. My poor computer. It just couldn’t handle the big lot very well. It was especially laggy when it rained, and tended to freeze a lot when it was snowing. (What pun?) So just before Jack became an adult, I moved him into a smaller Maxis house. Didn’t know that teens could do that; no I know. Jack was all sad when he didn’t get into university – i.e. I didn’t send him. It would have been a waste of time. Great new feature of Free Time is that whenever it’s a sim’s birthday, you get to choose up to 3 townies that age up with your playable sim. So Jack’s sweetheart also grew up to a healthy adult. Bon Voyage brought to us community weddings – yay! So Jack and girly got married at a little beach chapel I built, but I forgot to book them on a honeymoon – so they took a day off work and woohoo’d until they both passed out. Jack bought one of the toyshops from Bluewater village. I just moved it to Arnicka Annex so as to cut down on load time. My main concern was that I noticed some memories not showing up; like when a sim gets a talent badge, only the memory for a golden badge shows up – not bronze, nor silver show up. Also, Jack only had a memory for earning §5 000. No memory of earning §10 000 or any amount up. And I think the wizard is a bit wonky, ‘cause it didn’t recognise that he had maxed out interest
